Daredevil and other Marvel shows to leave Netflix on March 1

Marvel’s live-action superhero series will leave Netflix starting March 1, according to a note that has now appeared on the shows themselves. Six shows that premiered initially on Netflix – Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Who punished, Iron Fistand Defenders – now come to an advice in the upper left corner that they will be discontinuing the streaming service soon.
Polygon reached out to a Netflix representative for clarification and comment, but the company did not immediately respond.
DaredevilMatt Murdock (Charlie Cox) of recently moved from the small-stakes version of Netflix in the Marvel Universe to the larger MCU in Spider-Man: There’s no way home. At the same time, Daredevil’s Kingpin also jumped into the MCU with his appearance in the final episodes of Hawk Eye. While that’s the only time any of these characters have appeared in a Marvel movie – or in a Disney Plus series – the number of passes has been enough to boost the rocket. Daredevil made it into the Netflix Top 10, despite the fact that Last season was 2018.

While there’s been no official announcement so far about the series leaving Netflix, that’s not entirely surprising. When Disney was about to launch Disney Plus, then CEO Bob Iger says the company will bring its first-party assets and programs to the service. We don’t know for certain that Netflix’s Marvel shows will end up on Disney Plus, but that’s where it’s most likely.
Netflix isn’t losing all of its Marvel content, or so it seems. Show like Agent of Marvel SHIELD and some animated series, like X Men and Lego Marvel, don’t have the same message, that probably means they’re safe for the moment.
