When introducing her, host Ken Jennings asked about her cat, which led to a hilarious story.

Brittany, a senior insurance rater, captured the hearts of fans on Friday’s episode.

Ken introduced her at the beginning of the game.

“Brittany Shaw of Joliet, Illinois, is a senior insurance rater with a cat,” he said.

“Tell me about your rescue cat.”

Brittany said, “Well my rescue cat’s name is Simba and he only has one eye.”

“So when I called him, I called him Simba, but spelled it SMBA because he’s missing the I.”

Ken broke through and asked her if the cat was Jeopardy! have seen.

“Half,” she joked as Ken laughed again. “Mostly the left half.”

“I ran right in there,” chuckled the host.

“Yes,” Brittany laughed.

Brittany shared a picture from smba to twitter and the fans went crazy.

‘BEST INTERVIEW!’

The clip was posted to Twitter and fans immediately loved her quick replies and adorable cat.

“We need an invitation tournament with participants who have the best interviews,” wrote one fan.

“I absolutely loved this candidate interview, being a cat lover myself she nailed it in introducing us to her cat,” said another.

A third added: “Great sense of humor!”

“That’s pretty smart, but I feel sorry for the cat,” wrote one Jeopardy! Fan.

“Love that!” commented one fan.

“Brittany was a real star!! She should have her own show or write comedy!”

One fan wrote: “Everyone loved this anecdote.”

In the same episode, Ken made the “dirtiest joke” fans have ever heard him say.

The TV host snuck into a joke about Boogie Nights’ infamous NSFW closing scene.

Recurring winner Sharon Stone was joined by Jen Petro-Roy, a recently published YA contributor from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and Brittany Shaw, an insurance consultant who sweetly shared that she has a one-eyed cat from Joliet, Illinois.

Sharon is a children’s state disability manager from Round Rock, Texas – not to be confused with the famous actress – who contributed to the new Jeopardy! Champion after defeating fans’ two-day winner Lisa Sriken.

Speaking of show business, Ken, 48, drew a huge laugh with a raunchy movie reference that may have passed over some heads.

Sharon selected the $1600 clue in Double Jeopardy under the Last Lines of Movies category.

Ken read the note: “Mark Wahlberg said, ‘I’m a star. I’m a star. I’m a star. I’m a star. I am a big bright shining star. That’s right.”

Another contestant, Jen, got it right as “What’s: Boogie Nights.”

To which Ken crept in: “Unfortunately we couldn’t show the clip.”

The reference was of course referring to the last recording of Boogie Nights from 1997.

Marky Mark played adult film actor Dirk Diggler – and stripped naked for the memorable film moment with some oversized prosthetic addition.

In the final scene, he rigged up in front of a mirror just before he set out to appear in a porn movie and flaunted his “prop”.

“I COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING”

It took the contestants, and even the audience, a second to take it in and mostly laughed nervously – Jen was still giggling as she chose the next clue.

Fans went berserk in an internet Reddit thread when one user wrote: “Ken’s ‘sorry we couldn’t show the clip’ joke about the ending of ‘Boogie Nights’ is the funniest, dirtiest joke I’ve ever made saw on the show.

I almost missed the next clue because I laughed out loud.”

“Reminds me of the contestant who prayed for snow on her wedding day but got none but “got 8 inches on my honeymoon,” wrote another.

“A +joke from @KenJennings following this Boogie Nights reply,” applauded a third on Twitter.
