Ray died after being attacked on March 18 in Lower Greenville, Dallas.

CCTV footage appears to show Joseph waiting outside a nightclub before a fight apparently broke out, according to Yahoo Sports.

Ray was shot while walking to an SUV waiting nearby.

He died after being rushed to a local hospital.

Dallas Police Department detective Tonya McDaniel told Fox4: “He was enjoying himself, done nothing wrong, but that night when it ended he was out walking with some friends.

“They encountered a glitch that they didn’t start.”

CCTV footage reportedly showed an unidentified man delivering a punch before shots were fired.

Joseph has been identified as a person of interest. Cops haven’t named him as a suspect.

Sources told the Dallas Star-Telegram that the cornerback was not involved in the shooting.

The NFL star has not been charged by police.

The Dallas Cowboys did not respond to the reports when approached by ESPN.
