A DAD has been arrested after allegedly forcing his four-year-old son to drink hand sanitizer and begging for food before starving to death.

Brandon Cervera was arrested by San Antonio police Thursday in connection with the death of his son Benjamin.

The 28-year-old father was arrested after police obtained mobile phone footage of the boy begging for water and food, according to an affidavit.

Oath of arrest, obtained by KSATalso noted that the boy – who died of starvation in the summer of 2021 – was forced to drink disinfectant.

San Antonio police obtained shocking video footage from a family member’s phone before arresting him for injuring a child, KSAT reports.

The four-year-old boy was unresponsive to the bruises on his body when he was taken to the hospital on August 17, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit also states that authorities found a locked cabinet and refrigerator in the boy’s Texas home.

The affidavit also revealed that Benjamin was discovered sleeping in a locked room with a frameless mattress, covered with urine stains.

The woman who identified herself as the mother of the deceased boy, Lala Flores, recently took to Facebook to say that “justice will be served.”

She wrote: “Justice will be served mi angelito & though when justice comes at least we all know.

“I will never understand why this is happening in the hands of your so-called loved ones.

“You will always be in my heart and running around in my mind. I will always love you and your big brother. ”

According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Benjamin’s cause of death was starvation.

There is also another suspect in the case who has yet to be arrested.
