Records showed that the Los Angeles rapper had endured three child support battles with exes who were seeking spousal support for their children.

The LA Department of Child Support Services first filed a child support lawsuit against Coolio in February 1999 on behalf of an unidentified woman named Juanita Randle.

It took five years for the case to come to court before the parties finally settled.

Then, in 2010, he was embroiled in a legal battle with Taleya White, who background checks indicate is the mother of his child Darius Ivey, a musician like his father.

Coolio was tried by County Child Support Services in October of the same year. However, the case was eventually dropped in January 2012, presumably after Coolio paid all of his child support.

In a similar case that received more publicity, former love interest Annabella Bellesi sued him in a two-year child support dispute in 2010.

She told TMZ at the time that she needed to file for child support to prove to the state of California that she had reviewed and exhausted all options to qualify for Medi-Cal.

At the time, a local LA child welfare agency filed documents to convince a court that Aw, Here It Goes! Rapper paid $300 child support for then-little son Christopher Kal El Ivey Bellesi.

The documents filed revealed that Coolio was only making $1,387 a month at the time.
