CRYSTAL PALACE star Eberechi Eze nears a late call from England for the World Cup.
Midfield magician Eze makes a huge impression on boss Gareth Southgate and his staff.

He has returned with a bang after a long break with Achilles tendon problems.
Eze, 23, has been dazzling of late and brings the kind of skills that could grace the international stage and complement the Three Lions group.
Palace were on the England watch list for midfielder Conor Gallagher and defenders Marc Guehi and Tyrick Mitchell.
Now Eze is ending the season strong, having steadily recovered since October.

Southgate has Phil Foden, Mason Mount and Jack Grealish on the left side of his midfield and is attacking, but Eze is now under serious consideration for a spot.
Eze can play far and even move into the middle.
He was on the verge of making his breakthrough in England before suffering an injury in training late last season.
Now an appeal would complete his return.

The Eagles will stave off any interest in Eze with longtime admirers from Aston Villa and Newcastle this summer.
Meanwhile, Palace want 32-year-old centre-back Cheikhou Kouyate on a one-year deal in line with other senior players like James McArthur and James Tomkins.
The Londoners are set to sign £15million Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure but that depends on personal terms.
