Now boss Vieira is keen on a new signing for Palace.

That could open the door for interest in American Chris Richards, 22, at Bayern Munich.

The Eagles are also considering a loan move for former right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 24.

He appears to be redundant at Manchester United and Palace could be set for a reunion.

But they’re hitting a brick wall in their bid for midfielder Cheick Doucoure.
