CRYSTAL PALACE ace Jordan Ayew bravely played on with FIVE stitches to the head after a disgusting clash with Leeds man Robin Koch.
The pair banged their heads as they both jumped on the same ball at a corner just before half-time.
And it was Ayew, 31, who came off worse.
He was thrown to the ground by the impact and lay flat on the ground in worrying scenes.
Crystal Palace medical staff quickly rushed on to tend the ailing star and Koch himself also required treatment from Leeds medics.
Ayew suffered a nasty cut above his eyebrow, with Sky Sports coverage claiming he needs it FIVE stitches to cut.
After a lengthy layoff, both Ayew and Koch were found fit to continue playing.
Ayew was sent back onto the field with his head heavily bandaged.
The striker was then substituted in the 65th minute.
And fans were left wondering if letting Ayew continue playing after the disgusting clash of heads was the right decision.

One wrote: Never mind that Ayew is just being judged, there’s no way he should be allowed to continue after this clash of minds. Safety and common sense must prevail, not the result or the game.”
Another said: “Surely Ayew should walk away with a head injury! For his own good.”
And a third added: “After this head bang, why is Ayew allowed to stay and need further treatment?”
On the pitch, Pascal Struijk gave Leeds the lead after brilliant work from Brenden Aaronsen on the right.
But Palace responded with goals from Odsonne Edouard and Eberechi Eze to secure a comeback win for Patrick Vieira’s side.
