NFT sells at intended price
The owner of the Bored Ape (NFT) non-fungible token accidentally sold virtual art for $3,000 instead of $300,000.
One of the 10,000 limited edition Bored Ape Yacht Clubs, the NFT was originally purchased by an auto account that immediately resold it for nearly $250,000.
After making numerous online transactions that day, he said he was “distracted” that prompted him to enter “0.75 ETH.”
“I immediately saw the error when my finger clicked but… it cut off instantly before I could click ‘Cancel’ – and just like that, $250,000 was gone,” he said.
