Upon his return to Croatia, Gvardiol quickly made his way to his father’s home village on the Dalmatian coast to celebrate his run to the last four.

And fans loved the fact that he was rocking in a tiny Fiat Punto.

Responding to social media, one person said, “I’m liking this guy more and more.”

Another added: “I have the same car as Gvardiol!”

A third said: “My dad has had the same car for 18 years. And he’s also still waiting for it to move.”

And a fourth replied: “Is Josko the new favorite humble one?”

Gvardiol, who has played every minute of the Croatian World Cup, has made it into most of the tournament’s teams after his excellent performances.
