REMEMBER, refreshed, Ron Fire.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s quick brace and assist gave Portugal their first Nations League win of the season in a 4-0 win against Switzerland.
The 37-year-old Manchester United forward was rested in Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Spain but extended his world record international goals to 117 three nights later.
Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho scored an easy opener early on before Ronaldo found the net in the 35th and 39th minutes.
Midway through the second half, Bernardo Silva then deftly scored Manchester City team-mate Joao Cancelo for Portugal’s fourth goal.
New Old Trafford boss Erik ten Hag insists he will be “excited” to be working with legend Ronaldo.

And the former Real Madrid hero showed why as he was the main man again in Lisbon.
Switzerland started strong enough, even with an opener from Haris Seferovic being scrubbed off for handball by VAR.
But Carvalho soon converted the game with his breakthrough goal.
He rolled the ball home after keeper Gregor Kobel saved a Ronaldo free-kick straight at him.
Portugal took charge and unsurprisingly it was Ron who paid the extra mile.
The ex-Juventus superstar doubled his lead, which was cleverly delivered by Liverpool winger Diogo Jota.
And Ronaldo’s poaching instinct quickly made it 3-0.
But he missed a chance for a seven-minute hat-trick with a glaring miss from close range.
Cancelo scored in the 68th minute to reward Portugal’s dominance.
But Ronaldo was once again denied a three-pointer, this time when his free-kick was brilliantly parried by Dortmund keeper Kobel.
So he had to settle for two goals, which earned him eight of the 109 goals scored by Iran’s Ali Daei in the all-time list of international scorers.
