Cristiano Ronaldo invites FOUR Man Utd stars to Al-Nassr game in Saudi Arabia for farewell after dramatic exit

CRISTIANO RONALDO has invited some of his Manchester United friends on holiday to give him a proper farewell.
Ronaldo’s departure from United happened while he was on duty with Portugal at the World Cup, meaning he never got a chance to say goodbye to his team-mates.

Now he has contacted his closest friends in the squad to try and arrange a visit to his homeland – or even visit him in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo left United in November after criticizing the club in an interview with Piers Morgan.
He signed a £170million-a-year deal with Saudi club Al Nassr – the richest football deal ever.
Ronaldo, 37, is currently building a luxury home on the outskirts of Lisbon and has been texting some of his pals at United about meeting up in the summer.
He has also asked if they would be interested in seeing him play for his new club in the Middle East when schedules allow.
A United insider said: “There are still a few lads here who have nothing but respect for Ronny and were sad how it all ended because they never got to say a proper goodbye.
“He recently left players’ WhatsApp groups but promised to keep in touch with some and invited them to his new home in Lisbon and Saudi to watch him play.
“Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Raphael Varane are all buddies.

“His place in Lisbon sounds incredible – and he can certainly afford it now!”
Ronaldo is understood to have sent his fleet of luxury engines back to Portugal as well.
The United source added: “Some of the guys at the training ground were hoping he would give away one of his supercars like Sergio Aguero did when he left City!”
Aguero gave City first-team staff a ticket for his £40,000 Range Rover when he left the Etihad in 2021.
It was won by Ally Marland, one of the club’s kitmen.
