The legend, 38, strictly controls his diet – so he may feel faint just sniffing at the trio of cakes unveiled on his big family day.

Ronaldo started the weekend the way he wanted it… with a cheeky birthday shoot.

He took the ball out of the hands of team-mate Talisca and scored an injury-time penalty, his first goal for new club Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

And he continued doing exactly what he likes too — enjoying his birthday with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their kids.

The grinning Ron posed for a jam-packed family photo that soon racked up more than 3 million likes on Instagram.

The ex-Manchester United forward wrote: “Thank you everyone for all the birthday messages. I’m grateful to have spent the day with my family and friends.”

The five-time Ballon ‘d’Or winner has regularly stated that he intends to continue playing into his 40s.
