Cris Collinsworth pokes fun at Tom Brady for “a lot of shit coming up” during NBC’s live broadcast of the season opener.

CRIS COLLINSWORTH couldn’t resist a little fun at Tom Brady’s expense last night.

The NBC network referenced the 45-year-old quarterback during the NFL season opener.

Collinsworth was joined on the booth by Mike Tirico as the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams opened the NFL season.

NBC will also broadcast Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers live Sunday night.

The Bucs travel to Arlington to take on the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday’s late game.

After Thursday’s season opener, Tirico and Collinsworth were looking forward to their trip to Texas.

And Collinsworth jokingly said, “I don’t know if you heard Tom Brady had a busy time during the NFL season.”

His co-commentator Tirico responded with sarcastic surprise, saying, “Is that like what?”

And Collinsworth replied, “We’ll talk about it when we get there.”

Fans wondered if the NBC network knew more about Brady’s absence this preseason.

One wrote: “Uh, did Cris Collinsworth just casually threaten to spill the tea on Tom Brady and Gisele?”

It comes after reports that Brady and Gisele Bundchen have fallen out over his retirement turnaround.

Brady took an 11-day hiatus in the preseason for personal, non-football reasons.

Upon his return, he told reporters, “There’s a lot of shit going on, so you just have to try to figure out life as best you can.”

PageSix reported last week that Brady and Gisele had an “epic fight” over his return to the NFL.

And they reported this week that the couple haven’t reconciled with Gisele, who lives elsewhere in Florida.
