Mahadeo Suhnandan, 50, reportedly told police that his nephew, 29-year-old Neraz Roberts, always “wanted to kill me,” authorities said.

“I’ve had enough,” Suhnandan reportedly told officials after Roberts’ death on Sunday.

“I heard Neraz say he would kill me if he caught me outside,” Suhnandan was quoted as saying.

“I got my ‘Cutlass’ out of my bed – it’s a machete. It has a wooden handle. I went downstairs, kicked open his door and asked him why he wanted to kill me.”

Suhnandan reportedly said he “hacked” his nephew several times while saying, “You want to kill me? I’m going to kill you,” reported the New York Post.

“The blood on my feet and on my sandals is his,” he reportedly told police.

“He asked me why I hacked him.

FATHER ‘HEARD’ MURDER

The attack happened around 5 a.m. Sunday in Queens. The victim’s father told the New York Post he was on the speakerphone while his son was being brutally murdered.

“My son called and I can hear the screaming,” said Nazeem Roberts, Neraz’s father, 49.

“She yells at her husband. She said, ‘Don’t do that! No! Don’t do that!’” he claimed.

Roberts said he asked his family to record the violent argument while he was on the speakerphone.

FAMILY DISPUTES

Neraz’s father said the attack came after an ongoing dispute over ownership of a family home.

A neighbor of the family told the Post that there had been fighting since the death of Suhnandan’s mother-in-law two and a half years ago.

Neraz reportedly continued to live in the basement throughout the feud, even after his father was apparently kicked out of the house.

“He has no criminal record and this is his first arrest,” defense attorney David Donaldson Strachan told the Suhnandan judge, who remained calm and composed throughout the trial.

Judge Diego Freire on Monday ordered Suhnandan held without bail for murder, The Post reported.
