Crazy Norwich fan turns on Billy Gilmour and demands midfielder to ‘go back to Chelsea’ in Crystal Palace clash

NORWICH fans expressed their evil feelings towards Chelsea for Billy Gilmour and his teammates as Crystal Palace sent them to the sword.

Gilmour, 20, was met with criticism from the back of the field when several Canaries demanded the midfielder return to Chelsea.

The Scotland international is currently on loan at Norwich from the Blues but has played poorly in the eyes of some fans.

Norwich were booed at half-time in their clash with Crystal Palace against Eagles lead 3-0 at halftime.

And that’s how the match ended just a few days later Norwich were beaten 5-0 at home to Arsenal.

Gilmour was dropped in the second half, however, supporters told him to “go back to Chelsea”.

Supporters have struggled to see what he brings to the team as he has made 12 Premier League appearances but has not contributed a single goal and provided just one assist.

His finishing wasn’t much better either as Norwich conceded 29 goals in those games – while Gilmour made 30 tackles.

But Norwich fans will likely have to keep an eye on the midfielder for a while longer as he has been a regular part of the team since Dean Smith’s arrival.

He is on loan until the end of the season and unless Norwich sign a new midfielder, he is likely to keep his place in the team.

There was talk about Gilmour is called again early in the season due to his lack of game time but that hasn’t been the case since Daniel Farke was sacked.
