Cowardly coward Kurt Zouma has to clear dirty sewers for a community service job

CAT-kicking West Ham star Kurt Zouma has to do “hard work” for his community service, like clearing rubbish and clearing canals.

It’s believed the £30million defender – whose East London club is known for the song I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles – was hoping for a cushy job.

Hundreds of scammers have been able to do unpaid work at home thanks to a Covid backlog.

But parole officers told Zouma, 27, and brother Yoan, 24, that they will spend their time in the public eye.

And the couple have been warned that the tasks could include shoveling, picking up rubbish, maintaining grounds, painting or fighting graffiti.

This means Zouma has the prospect of donning a safety vest to do his 180-hour community service just as the new football season begins.

The Sun revealed disgusting Snapchat footage of Yoan showing Zouma kicking and slapping his two pet Bengals in February. The couple was convicted of animal cruelty.

Last night The Sun whistleblower said: “This should be a huge wake-up call for everyone in the public eye that if you do bad things you will be treated like everyone else.

“If he ends up clearing canals, it’s his own fault.”

They added: “Celebrities always seem to get better treatment when they do something wrong.

“It won’t happen this time and I’m really happy.”

It was revealed yesterday that criminals had put in 300,000 hours of prison work at home over the past two years.

Jobs included making greeting cards, face masks, or hats.

Last night the Justice Department declined to comment on Zouma’s case.

But it said: “We’ve increased the time offenders spend doing hard, visible, unpaid work by an additional three million hours each year.”
