COVID-19 will bring 17 Pittsburgh public schools online on Wednesday – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Public Schools is still being hit hard by staffing shortages due to positive cases of COVID-19, COVID-related isolation, and other employee-related absences.

As a result, two are closed for the rest of the week, and another 17 are closed on Wednesdays. Eighteen schools and two preschool centers have started remotely this week.
Grab-and-go food service will still be available in each school’s cafeteria from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
