COVID-19 Staff shortages will cause 18 Pittsburgh public schools and 2 child care centers to start remotely – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Public Schools is still being hit hard by staffing shortages due to positive cases of COVID-19, COVID-related isolation, and other employee-related absences.

As a result, 18 schools and 2 preschool centers will start remotely this week.

Grab-and-go food service will still be available in each school’s cafeteria from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

The district will evaluate school staff and announce closures, extensions, or additions on Tuesday.
