Cormac Roth dead at 25 – The musician son of actor Tim Roth has died after battling cancer, the family have confirmed

CORMAC Roth, a musician and son of British actor Tim Roth, has died aged 25 after a battle with cancer.

Roth died on October 16, but his death was not announced until Monday.

“He was a wild and electric ball of energy and his spirit was full of light and goodness,” his family said.

“As fierce as he was, Cormac was also the embodiment of kindness. A gentle soul who brought so much happiness and hope to those around her.

“The sadness comes in waves, as do the tears and laughter as we think of this beautiful boy in the 25 years and 10 months we knew him.

“An irrepressible and happy and wild and wonderful child. Only recently a man. We love him. We will take him everywhere.”

Roth, a talented guitarist, composer and producer, announced on his Instagram that he was diagnosed with stage 3 germ cell cancer last November.

“In November 21 I was diagnosed with stage 3 germ cell cancer,” Roth shared on IG.

“Since then I’ve been fighting it every day and throwing everything I can at it. Chemo, high-dose chemo, drugs, transplants, transfusions, surgeries, etc. It’s called choriocarcinoma, it’s rare, and it’s managed to get through many steps in front of me no matter what I throw at it.

“It’s taken half my hearing, 60 pounds and my confidence and will continue on its murderous trek until I somehow manage to stop it and kill it.”

The 25-year-old added: “But it hasn’t taken away my will to survive or my love for making music. It hasn’t brought me down yet.

“If you or someone you love is affected by it [SIC] If you have cancer, feel free to come forward because it’s an emotional rollercoaster unlike anything else.

“Love to you all, please make sure you’re doing the things you love. Life is short. it’s chaos

“And you never know when you will be. Be healthy and go to the doctor. Fuck cancer.”
