Police in Australia searched the Blue Mountains near Sydney for the heavily tattooed Gaddie after Danielle’s body was discovered around 2.30pm on Sunday.

He was found in the Wentworth Falls area in the mountains and police are currently negotiating with him to turn himself in.

He was reportedly fleeing a friend from Danielle’s house where the couple had been staying on Saturday night.

She was discovered alone in bed with horrific head injuries when friends checked her in at 2.30pm.

Danielle reportedly spent the night on Saturday introducing her date to friends at the Marsden Brewhouse in west Sydney.

Emergency services were unable to revive her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

New South Wales Police Chief Inspector John Nelson said police are looking into reports a man was seen running away from the property

He added that detectives were investigating whether the couple had met online.

“The information we know is that they are known to each other, there was no entry or break-enter,” he said.

“It’s no coincidence.”

Gaddie was halfway through a two-year sentence for stalking, choking and assaulting another woman, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

In the past, he has been the subject of five restraining orders, all issued by different women between 2017 and 2022.

According to her social media profiles, Danielle was a Support Officer in the NSW Department of Education and Director of Female Football at Ramsgate RSL Football Club.

A friend paid tribute to the Daily Mail Australia, saying she is an “incredible person inside and out”.

“She is loved by all who knew her and words cannot describe the shock that this happened,” she said.

“She didn’t deserve this and will be greatly missed.”

Gaddie reportedly worked as a handyman and posted on a mining Facebook group to seek employment in the oil industry.

He previously ran a personal training business from 2012 to 2015, records show.

The suspect is described as blue-eyed, balding, Caucasian, approximately 180 cm tall and muscular.

Both arms are covered with tattoos.
