The discovery was made on Thompson Street in Douglasville, Georgiareported by neighbors who say the body had been there for months fox 5.

A neighbor who asked to remain anonymous told Fox 5 authorities the body had been there since the winter.

“It looks like he’s been there since January or just before that. It could have been my brother, my uncle or my father that went missing.”

Neighbors are struggling to feel safe in their homes and are shocked that something so terrible is happening so close to them.

“It’s very alarming. We have a few arguments, a few fights, but nothing like this has ever happened,” said another neighbor.

The Sun has contacted the Douglasville Police Department but have not heard from them at the time of publication.
