TONY FERGUSON has slammed Conor McGregor’s character, branding him ‘mentally weak’ for his comments following his defeat by Michael Chandler.
McGregor went on a Twitter tirade earlier this month mocking El Cucuy after witnessing him being KO’d by a brutal front kick at UFC 274.
And former interim lightweight champion Ferguson believes the Irishman’s actions reflect his true personality.
Speaking on Submission Radio, the 38-year-old said: “A lot of things that he does just have to say something about his character.
“It’s just to mock people, it’s mentally weak. It’s like using a GameGenie and you can win fast, you’re not really having fun anymore.
“He’s trying to enjoy everyone’s other stuff.
“The guy rode my bike on his running track. He even kicked the bar, that was the most ridiculous stuff.”
Ferguson and McGregor have a long history together, having both been represented by Paradigm Sports Management.
Fan favorite Ferguson parted ways with Paradigm in 2019 as he felt they didn’t have his best interests at heart.
He was also furious that The Notorious reportedly broke his promise not to pursue the lightweight crown once he signed with Paradigm.

Ferguson responded to McGregor’s taunt – which included a still of him being kicked in the face by Chandler – after becoming aware of it.
He tweeted: “Ahhh there’s my b****. Next time tag me p****.
“Come behind you and your crew. McNugget stays with you, crook, can’t take it [what’s not yours] no more, thief.
“Still out of gravy and balls, McNuggets.
“I’ll see you and your crew soon if you’re after your golden imp.”
The loss to Chandler was Ferguson’s fourth on the runway, the previous three being Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush.
Like Ferguson, McGregor is eliminated from the Victory Column after losing two fights in a row to Dustin Poirier last year.
