Conor Benn vs. Chris Eubank Jr. LIVE UPDATES: Fight OFF after Hearn’s late offer to move venue, Eubank Jr. goads opponent

Good morning boxing fans
Chris Eubank Jr. had to undergo a drug test just hours after his fight with Conor Benn was POSTPONED due to his rival’s failed doping test.
Saturday’s showdown was postponed after Benn failed a drug test, discovering traces of clomiphene in his system.
Clomiphene is commonly used as a drug to treat infertility in women who are not ovulating, but it can also increase testosterone levels in men, which is why it is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
As a result, the British Boxing Board of Control pulled the plug and refused to sanction the fight.
Benn has insisted he is a “clean athlete” despite failing the drug test.
Rival Eubank Jr. also underwent further testing.
The 33-year-old was greeted by a random drug test in his hotel room despite the O2 scrap being postponed.
He said on Twitter: “Just returned to my hotel room to be greeted by yet another random drug test… which, as always, I love to take.
“10 years and never let down a #CleanAthlete.”
An image of samples being collected accompanied the tweet.
Eubank Jr. has also apologized to his fans who bought tickets and spent money to travel to the event.
He tweeted: “Conor was caught using an illegal substance so the fight is over. I can not believe it.
“I really apologize to the fans and everyone who bought tickets, traveled and booked hotels, this shouldn’t have happened.
“He’s escaped his school days… for now.”
Matchroom issued the following statement: “After discussions with various parties, we have made the decision to officially postpone the fight between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn.
“It is undeniable that the British Boxing Board of Control’s decision to withdraw their sanction was procedurally flawed and without due process.
“That remains a legal question between the organizers and the board, which we want to pursue.
“While there are legal ways to allow the fight to go ahead as planned, we do not believe the fight is in the best interests of the fighters.”
