COLEEN Rooney and the children spend a day at the beach with Wayne before leaving to return home to England.

The mother-of-four posed in her swimsuit while Kai, 12, Klay, 9, Kit, 6, and Cass, 4, played in the sand in the US.

She posted, “The traffic was worth it.”

DC United boss Wayne, 36, hugged his boys in a photo Coleen shared yesterday.

She wrote: “We love you @waynerooney.

“See you soon.”

Wayne’s start to life in DC didn’t exactly go according to plan.

Rooney, 36, has won just one game – beating Orlando City.

DC United have drawn once and lost four among England’s record goalscorers.

But to help Rooney settle into his new role, his family flew to the United States for a visit.

Spending time in New York, the Rooneys shared a family photo in front of the Statue of Liberty.

Coleen and the kids also visited Washington, where they spent time during Rooney’s game days.

However, Coleen did not like the move and prefers the North East of England.

In her high-profile trial of fellow Wag Rebekah Vardy, Coleen admitted that when she lived in Maryland in 2019, she was so miserable that she “cried every night.”

The visit was a much-needed morale boost for Rooney, who posted an adorable photo alongside his four boys as his family returned to England.

Rooney captioned the Instagram post, “See you guys.”

Everton fans will also be delighted to see second eldest, Klay, sporting the Toffees’ famous blue colours.
