LIGONIER (KDKA) – The chilly temperatures this weekend may have kept many indoors but for the Ligonier Frost Festival, it was perfect.
On Saturday, there were more than 60 ice sculptures on the first day.
The sculptures come in all sorts of different shapes, like a chicken, a wolf, a heart, and even an interactive lute.
Now, for those who think it’s too cold outside, the festival also features indoor activities.
Festival host Cindy Purnell said: “Most importantly, we have indoor sidewalk sales from our merchants, delicious food from all of our restaurants, there’s a lot of work to be done. work in Ligonier.
She said whatever the weather, the sculptures will be on display as long as the weather permits.
