Cloud9 crowned Halo Infinite Champions at Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major

After three days of top-notch Halo competition, Cloud9 was crowned its first Halo Infinite championship at the Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major. The competition was held at the Raleigh Convention Center.

The Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major brings together top teams from across North America, Europe and Oceania to claim the title of best of the best. This is also the first major Halo tournament based on the recently released Halo Infinite. Fast-flowing physics-based momentum balance title with balanced gameplay, ideal for competition Halo.

Cloud9 went up against eUnited in the best of seven matches and won with the final score (4 – 1). Let’s take a closer look at the results.

Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major – Cloud9 beat eUnited (4 – 1) in the grand finals

Cloud9 standards for Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major for North America HCS Point. The team faced SpaceStation Gaming, XSET and Acend in Group D in the game of Pool.

Cloud9 won all three group stage matches and, as the top team of the round, qualified directly for the Upper Group Stage – Round 2 of the Playoff stage.

Cloud9 faced Team WaR (3 – 0), Quadrant (3 – 1), Optic Gaming (3 – 2) and eUnited (3 – 2) in different stages of Upper Bracket and won them all. As such, the roster maintained a winning streak throughout the Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major and qualified for the best of seven finals.
