City of Industry ‘Pipe Bomb’ – Suspicious device ‘strapped to a pole’ outside of Target as Los Angeles Police Department evacuates stores

OFFICIALS launched evacuations at several stores in the California city of Industry on Monday night after a suspicious device was found.

The item was discovered in a building at 17575 Almahurst Street, according to CBS News.

Around the same time, deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were briefed on an alleged pipe bomb in a box reportedly attached to a utility pole, the outlet reported.

industrial police warned Residents to stay away from the area Monday night, detailing that authorities are “investigating a possible explosive device.”

According to Fox 11, the device was found near a mall.
