Christian Eriksen’s amazing contract demands revealed after he agreed to Man Utd free transfer

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN has reportedly informed clubs interested in signing him this summer that he wants a whopping £200,000-a-week contract.

The Denmark international has verbally agreed a move to Manchester United after turning down a chance to stay at Brentford on a long-term basis.

Eriksen, 30, became a free agent this summer after his short-term contract with the Bees expired in January.

And he’s claiming an incredible £200,000-a-week contract and a £10 MILLION Signing fee from his next club, sources told the Telegraph.

Brentford had been willing to smash their pay structure and make Eriksen their highest-paid player by far.

That offer and the fact that his family is currently based in London meant the decision to join United wasn’t easy for Eriksen.

Now, however, the Danish playmaker has agreed in principle to sign for United.

But the Telegraph goes on to claim it’s currently unclear if the Red Devils have met his sky-high demands.

The Daily Star previously claimed United had offered the Danish player £150,000 a week in terms.

Eriksen’s move to Old Trafford is now subject to a medical review, while his contract details are also yet to be finalised.

Eriksen has made an incredible recovery since suffering cardiac arrest on the pitch during a Euro 2020 game in June last year.

He was forced to leave Inter Milan after having a defibrillator fitted – which is not allowed in Italy – in the weeks following his collapse.

Eriksen then trained with now-United boss Erik ten Hag at Ajax earlier in the year before joining Brentford.

Ten Hag are reportedly hoping for five new signings before the start of the new Premier League season.

Eriksen will follow Tyrell Malacia through the doors, pictured in Carrington yesterday completing his £13million move.

United are also hoping Frenkie de Jong will arrive with an initial fee of around £56m agreed with Barcelona. Christian Eriksen’s amazing contract demands revealed after he agreed to Man Utd free transfer
