Days after the slap aired live on television, 57-year-old Chris took to the stage in Boston for a comedy show, according to Variety.
He quickly addressed the elephant in the room, although he played shy for a moment.
The actor kicked off his show by saying, “How was your weekend?” with a giggle.
The audience laughed, cheered and cheered as he continued.

“I don’t have a whole bunch of shit about what happened, so if you came to hear that … I had a whole show that I wrote before this weekend and I’m still kind of processing what happened “, he said.
Chris promised, “Well, eventually I’ll talk about it and it’ll be serious and fun.”
The crowd erupted again when some started chanting, “F**k Will Smith.”
The comedian didn’t join in the frenzy but went on with his show.
He said: “I’m going to tell a few jokes. It’s nice to just be outside.”
PENDING PUNISHMENT?
On the same day, the academy announced that the slap was a violation of its code of conduct.
Will, who was nominated for his role in King Richard, was asked to leave after the slap but declined.
In a statement released to the Hollywood Reporter on March 30, Oscars officials confirmed that “disciplinary proceedings” had begun as a result of the incident.
The scathing message from the academy read: “Mr. Smith’s actions at the 94th Oscars were a deeply shocking, traumatic event to witness in person and on television. Mr. Rock, we apologize for what you experienced on our stage and thank you for your resilience at this moment.
“We also apologize to our nominees, guests and viewers for what happened during a celebratory event.”
They went on to reveal Will’s apparent refusal to leave the show.
The statement continued: “Things developed in a way that we could not have foreseen. While we would like to clarify that Mr. Smith was asked to leave the ceremony and refused, we also recognize that we could have handled the situation differently.”
TMZ reported that two Oscar officials — Academy President David Rubin and CEO Dawn Hudson — were the ones who asked the actor to leave.
Another part of the statement revealed: “The Board of Governors today began disciplinary proceedings against Mr. Smith for violations of the Academy’s standards of conduct, including improper physical contact, abusive or threatening behavior and endangering the integrity of the Academy.
“Mr. Smith will be given at least 15 days’ notice of his violations and sanctions and an opportunity to be heard beforehand through a written response.”
In a particularly succinct memo, the academy said that at the “next board meeting on March 18,
