CHRIS EUBANK JR will fight Demetrius Andrade or Janibek Alimkhanuly for the WBO world title.
The middleweight belt is currently held by Andrade, but the American will move up in weight to fight Brit Zach Parker.
The Kazakh KO artist Alimkhanuly currently reigns as interim champion.
If Andrade is to follow through with his jump to super middleweight, the belt could be vacated or Alimkhanuly increased.
Anyway, according to promoter Ben Shalom, Eubank Jr. is well positioned to contend for the world title.
Shalom told talkSPORT, “There’s obviously the Janibek fight, there’s the Demetrius Andrade fight, which now looks like it could be back on the cards after the Parker fight fell through.
“There are options now for Chris if he wants to step up and take those opportunities to fight for world titles because I believe they are there now.”
Eubank Jr., 32, was looking to challenge undefeated Andrade, 34, last year but the tragic death of his brother Sebastian meant the fight was scrapped.
Andrade has since teased a promotion and was expected to fight Derby’s Parker (28) before retiring from injury.
Meanwhile, Alimkhanuly, 29, who has eight KOs in 12 wins, beat Essex’s Danny Dignum, 30, to clinch the interim belt.

Eubank Jr. is currently No. 3 in the WBO rankings but could overtake No. 2 Dignum to contend for the full title.
The son of British boxing legend Chris Sr. had been aiming for a grudge fight with 36-year-old Kell Brook until the ex-world champion retired.
A rematch with Billy Joe Saunders, 32, or an eternal battle with Conor Benn, 25, also remain options for Eubank Jr.
