Chilling photos show toys covering Lindsay Clancy’s yard weeks after ‘she killed her three kids’

A mother faces murder charges after she allegedly strangled her three young children while the children’s toys were scattered around the family home, eerie photos have revealed.

On January 24, 32-year-old Lindsay Clancy allegedly killed her children with exercise bands and then tried to commit suicide by jumping out the window of her home in Duxbury, Massachusettes.

Her husband Patrick was out running errands during the killings and later discovered his children Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and seven-month-old baby Callan – mortally wounded at their home.

Almost a month after the children were killed, their toys can be seen on the lawn, photos obtained by Fox News Digital show.

Abandoned in the backyard of the family home that became the crime scene were toys including a slide, swings, a small trampoline, a toy lawn mower, and a plastic replica of a children’s roller coaster.

Clancy’s defense team pleaded not guilty on her behalf, citing mental health issues that allegedly rocked the mother’s postnatal sanity.

Her defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, described Clancy as a “zombie” after being “over-medicated” in the weeks leading up to the murders.

Reddington has also vowed how much Clancy adored her children.

“One thing that was always apparent was that Lindsay loved her children,” Reddington said in court during her Feb. 7 arraignment.

He said: “I was in the house. The house is absolutely full of tokens of love for these children.

“There are photos on the wall, small drawings, all kinds of games, toys, playpens, cradles in the living room and dining room.

“The kitchen was full of toys. Virtually her entire house, including her master bedroom, had toys and stuff for the kids.”

Defense attorney Duncan Levin, who has represented the likes of Anna Delvey and Harvey Weinstein, claimed both the defense and prosecutors would need to get into Clancy’s mind should the case go to trial.

“In this case, it won’t be about whether or not she committed the murders,” Levin said in an exclusive interview with The US Sun.

“That’s something that won’t be a problem in this case.

“What will be an issue is her state of mind and whether she was legally responsible.”

After the horrifying event that rocked the small community, prosecutors hit Clancy with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of strangulation and asphyxiation, and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

She is accused of killing her child but is not currently charged in his death.
