Cops received reports of an emergency at ICON Park in Orlando just after 11 p.m. local time on Thursday.

In a harrowing 911 call obtained by The US Sun, a caller can be heard telling firefighters that the ride’s personnel “didn’t fasten the seat belt on him.”

When the 911 dispatcher asked the caller if Tire was awake, the distraught caller vividly explained how the “teen’s arms and feet were broken.”

“Um, I’m not sure. They say he’s breathing, but he’s not responding. Looks like his arms and legs are broken.”

The caller goes on to explain how Tire was aboard the new Orlando Free-Fall ride shortly before his tragic death.

“I don’t know where he fell from. she [ICON park staff] didn’t buckle him up,” the caller claims.

A chilling video filmed before the tragic incident appears to show that Tire’s harness was not buckled properly.

The teenager was seen sitting on the ride with his harness seemingly unbuckled and slung over his shoulders.

Unlike the other riders seated next to him, Tire’s harness doesn’t appear to be pulled all the way down and attached to his seat.

Separate footage uploaded online shows the operator speaking to the drivers before they take off into the air.

As the ride begins The worker yells, “Hey, did you put your seat belt on the left side. seat belt.”

The more adventurous on board then start spinning up the lighted pillar.

Passengers soar hundreds of feet above the ground before plummeting at high speed.

The ride, which opened last December, ranks as the tallest freestanding drop tower in the world at 430 feet tall and seats 30 riders at full capacity.

‘HE IS GONE’

On a heartbreaking second 911 call, the caller simply explains how tire “was gone”.

“The ride was going, and while driving, the guy just came down,” says the caller.

The dispatcher asks the caller if the teen is “awake,” to which the man sadly replies, “No, he’s dead. He’s dead. He’s gone.”

“Tell me exactly why you think he’s completely gone,” the 911 worker said.

“He’s face down with blood everywhere. He’s not breathing. I took his pulse, he has no pulse,” the man replied.

The 911 dispatcher asks the man if he has access to a defibrillator, but the man said none was available.

“Okay, listen carefully. We’ll try to revive him,” the dispatcher said.

“He weighs about 300 pounds. It’s difficult to lift,” the man replied.

Shortly thereafter, sirens could be heard as first responders arrived at the scene.

AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATE TRAGICAL DEATH

In a news conference Friday, Orange County Sheriff John Mina said preliminary information indicates the incident was an accident.

However, Mina confirmed that an investigation is still open to determine the cause of the mishap, but reiterated that it “appears to be a tragic situation”.

“It just seems like a tragic situation. So everything is examined. Our role in this situation is to determine whether or not this is an accident or a deliberate act, and this appears to be a terrible tragedy,” the sheriff said.

Mina also spoke about the gruesome video on social media showing the young man’s final moments.

Just before the incident, a driver appeared confused as to whether or not those on board were wearing seat belts.

“This is something that the Department of Agriculture will definitely look at and of course we will look at that when we determine whether this was an accident or not,” Mina added.

“A GENTLE GIANT”

Brandon Gregory, a football coach who appeared to be with Tire on the tragic night, said the teenager was “so lucky” to get away from St. Louis for spring break.

“Relax kid, as a coach you hate that call I got last night. Please pray for his family and former/current teammates and coaches #RIPBigTick 💔💔💔💔🏈🏈.

“Was away from St.Louis to enjoy his spring break 💔💔💔💔💔 he was so happy,” added Gregory.

A woman who appears to be Tire’s father’s girlfriend asked the public to pray for the family.

“PLEASE PRAY FOR MY HUBBY HE LOST HIS ONLY CHILD HIS ONLY SON TYRE WAS A VERY RESPECTFUL GENTLE GAINT YOU WILL BE REALLY MISS SON Facebook.

“TELL MY BIG SON LIL LONNIE WE MISS YOU DOWN HERE MY HEART IS TRULY BROKEN RIP Tire Sampson YOU ARE LOVED BY MANY AND PLEASE PRAY FOR HIS MOTHER AND ALL THE FAMILY WHO WILL SOON BE DEPARTURED.”

A family member who claims to be the teenager’s grandfather said his heart was so heavy and wondered if this was “a dream”.
