CHILDREN under 5 are facing stabbing massacres and stunts on the YouTube Kids platform.
Following concerns from readers, The Sun tested their app as the parent of a five-year-old.
In just a few clicks, we were able to access an animated video called I’m the Best Assassin, showing characters being murdered with knives.
Other content includes a “magic trick” showing someone sticking a fork in their eye and a young player having a tooth pulled by a Nerf gun.
Tory MP Nigel Mills said: “This is shocking.
“They need to monitor this more closely.”
YouTube changed the age setting on one of the videos after being contacted by The Sun.
“Protecting our youngest users is a top priority,” the spokesperson said.
