Chief of Guatemala US-FL Chamber of Commerce asks Chris Patricca to resign



The Guatemala U.S. Florida Chamber of Commerce is the most recent to demand a resignation from Lee County College Board member Chris Patricca.

Patricca has come underneath fireplace for making feedback about Guatemalan college students.

“The most important problem principals have with college students from Guatemala is getting them out of the lavatory,” she stated in a video posted to YouTube final month. “They’ve by no means seen working water earlier than. Mario Juarez, president and CEO of the Guatemala U.S. Florida Chamber of Commerce, wrote a letter to Lee County College District Superintendent Ken Savage asking for Patricca to step down.

Juarez has two college students within the Lee County College District.

Juarez’s demand that Patricca stop comes on the heels of the college district’s fairness and variety advisory committee’s unanimous vote to sentence her feedback and suggest her advice.

Patricca apologized for her feedback over the past board assembly, however Juarez isn’t shopping for it.

“She sort of apologized however for me, it was not a real full apology,” Juarez stated.
