Cher, 76, hints she’s engaged to younger man Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, 36, and shows off a massive diamond ring in a new photo

CHER has hinted that she is engaged to boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards, 36.

The beloved singer took to Twitter to share a closeup of a gorgeous diamond ring sitting in its opened box.

Part of AE’s hand could be seen holding up the box, including the fun manicure he had on his thumbnail, a green flame on black nail polish.

In the caption, Cher wrote, “IT R NO WORDS ALEXANDER AE”

One follower excitedly asked: “Wait wait wait oops!! Is that a diamond ring or a ring with diamonds???? What does that mean?????????”

Another tweeted at the star: “It’s very beautiful [ring] and the BIGGEST diamond I’ve ever seen, but MOTHER what does that mean?

A third wondered: “OMG did he propose to you!!!?? Mama beautiful.”

Cher soon followed that she “posted [the photo] because his nails are so cool.”

Last week, sources told RadarOnline that the 76-year-old was hoping to marry the music executive soon.

An insider told the outlet, “Cher is head over heels in love.

“She knows she doesn’t have much time left to find ‘the one,’ and after two failed marriages and countless disastrous friends, this could be her LAST chance and she won’t let it pass her by.

“Of course her friends are worried. Whenever there’s a 40-year, $400 million gap between two people, there’s concern!”

Cher and AE, who has a son with his ex Amber Rose, met at Paris Fashion Week a few months ago.

The singer recently opened up a little about her relationship with Alexander while responding to a fan question on Twitter.

She gushed, “He’s 36 and he ended up coming after me until we met in the middle. He’s the consistent, I’m the Skittish.

“We love each other…. LADIES NEVER GIVE UP.””

The singer continued, “Neither wanted to take a long journey 2 Paris & then Paris was magic, Nebi wanted 2 C AE Grill, gotta say he was different 4 me.”
