How does Cheltenham play out?

For now, at the beginning of last weekend, it was good to soft just after a little rain.

And course secretary Jon Pullin hopes it won’t be far from that which happened at 1:30 p.m. on opening day.

“I hope we’re somewhere close to where we are right now, maybe good to soft, good in places to start the race,” he told ITV Opening Show on Saturday.
