Chelsea’s INJURY XI is worth a staggering £385million with record signing Moises Caicedo the latest to miss out

CHELSEA’s record signing Moises Caicedo is the latest star to be added to the club’s extremely expensive injury list.
Mauricio Pochettino has a number of stars on the treatment table and had to add several academy players to his bench against Bournemouth.
Captain Reece James is missing after suffering another thigh injury on matchday one against Liverpool.
This is just one of several problems facing Pochettino as every department on the pitch is affected by injuries.
Caicedo missed the trip to Bournemouth and will be assessed ahead of the game against Aston Villa at the weekend.
The Blues’ midfield is devastated, and his summer colleague Romeo Lavia is also unavailable.
The 19-year-old has yet to make his Chelsea debut and the club fear he could be out for a long period of time due to ankle problems.
Another young player, Carney Chukwuemeka, is out for a month after a promising start to the season but could be back in a few weeks.
Noni Madueke could also be back soon after returning from the England Under-21 team with a minor muscle problem.
However, the same cannot be said for Christopher Nkunku, who could be out until Christmas after undergoing knee surgery.

Wesley Fofana also injured his knee and may miss the entire season – an injury has seen the £70million signing make just 20 Chelsea appearances since his arrival last year.
The injuries to Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah mean that Poch has limited defensive strength, particularly with Marc Cucurella missing the trip to the Cherries due to illness.
However, there is good news for Pochettino as Armando Broja is close to making his return, although the club will take precautions as the striker recovers from a cruciate ligament injury.
