Good morning Chelsea fans
Chelsea have completed the signing of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Blues Napoli will pay a total of 40 million euros for the defender.
Once Napoli have checked the paperwork, the centre-back will be officially unveiled by the Blues.
He will earn 10 million euros net salary per season during his time at Stamford Bridge, it was said.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have announced the £50million signing of Raheem Sterling after he flew to Los Angeles to join his new team-mates.
The 27-year-old has signed a five-year contract with an option for a further year.
Sterling said it was a “pleasure” to join the Blues and return to London with it.
Elsewhere, Chelsea Presnel are looking to add Kimpembe to their ranks after snapping up Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling.
The Blues paid out £85million to bring the couple to Stamford Bridge.
But Chelsea aren’t done spending as they look to bring Kimpembe to partner Koulibaly at the heart of their defence.
The Blues reportedly reached out to PSG on Monday about Kimpembe’s availability, The Independent reported.
And PSG are open to letting him go if Chelsea can spend €50m with €10 in bonuses, the report added.
However, there is a discrepancy over the price as the Blues plan to spend 20m less than PSG’s estimate, it was also said.
Raheem Sterling ‘can’t wait to get started’ at Chelsea as the £50m newcomer roared: ‘Let’s make history together’
Sterling completed his medical training in the capital before flying to Los Angeles for Chelsea’s pre-season tour.
The 27-year-old England attacker sought more regular starts after an Etihad bankroll for much of last season.
And on Chelsea’s Instagram account, he claimed: “So glad to be a Chelsea player now.
“I honestly can’t wait to get started and yes, let’s make history together.”
