CHELSEA scored four straight wins under Graham Potter with a comfortable night at the San Siro.
The Blues were helped by ex-defender Fikayo Tomori, who was sent off for dragging down Mason Mount as the last man.
Jorginho made no mistake from the penalty spot and then Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang added another in the 34th minute as the Blues rose from the bottom to the top of Group E in a week.
Here’s how Joshua Jones of SunSport rated Potter’s men…
Kepa Arrizabalaga – 6
A seasoned evening for the Spain goalkeeper, who has kept three clean sheets in a row and now appears to be Chelsea’s first choice.
Trevo Chalobah – 6th
After a nearly flawless performance, a slip threatened to let AC Milan in but recovered well to reclaim the ball.
Thiago Silva – 6
His 100th Champions League appearance – and certainly one of his easier ones on his return to this iconic stadium.
Kalidou Koulibaly – 6
Was almost caught at the back post when Sergino Dest had space – but the Senegal star may have done just enough to deter the American as he went wide of the goal.
Reece James – 7
He appeared to be at his best as he paced up and down the right wing.
But his evening was cut short after colliding with Theo Hernandez and limping as a major injury risk with the World Cup six weeks away.

Mateo Kovacic – 6
A return to the midfield duo that served Thomas Tuchel so well – and once again doing business as they dictated the game.
Jorginho – 6
His penalty at Everton on opening day was added here in trademark fashion – despite the best efforts of an AC Milan fan and his laser.
Ben Chilwell – 4th
I honestly didn’t realize he was playing. Very inefficient.
Maurerberg – 8
Proving himself under yet another manager, Mount was at the peak of his powers in a stunning 45 San Siro minutes.
He lured Chelsea academy pal Tomori into bringing him down for the penalty and then played an inch-perfect left foot pass on the second try.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang – 7th
For the first time since 2017 with Borussia Dortmund, two consecutive Champions League goals and a perfect finish.
He looks full of confidence as he leads the line – evidenced by his front flip celebration.
Raheem Sterling – 4th
In his hour on the field, he offered very little and was rightly accepted – plus was booked.
Might feel badly done as Mount’s pass was probably meant for him…before Auba ran through and scored.
Conor Gallagher – 6 (for mount, HT)
He looked busy and sat down, trying to emulate Mount’s creativity. Got a late yellow.
Cesar Azpilicueta – 5 (for James, 62 minutes)
Easily slides in to replace the broken James.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek – 6 (for Sterling, 62 minutes)
Aubameyang almost slipped in for a third before Dest attacked.
Kai Havertz – 5 (for Aubameyang, 79 mins)
Touch dropped him as the ball went over the top and he was in. Accidentally blocked a teammate’s shot for the final kick of the game.
Marc Cucurella – N/A (for Chilwell, 90 minutes)
Came in the last minutes to see the win.
