Chelsea owner Todd Boehly spends an HOUR in the dressing room in Blues flops after rowing with fans during the Brighton defeat

CHELSEA owner Todd Boehly spent an hour in the team’s dressing room after Saturday’s dismal defeat by Brighton.

The American watched from the stands as Frank Lampard’s men were torn apart by a brilliant Brighton side.

The Seagulls have now doubled over against Chelsea, who ambushed them for Graham Potter and several coaches in September.

And Lampard’s return as interim boss has now brought three defeats in as many games.

The future certainly looks bleak for Chelsea, who are also facing Champions League elimination.

But according to Spanish journalists Manu SanchezBoehly decided to take control of the situation by visiting the players’ dressing room right after the final whistle.

What he said to his expensive squad or caretaker is unknown.

But Boehly, who was also accompanied by his co-owner Behdad Eghbali, spent a full hour below decks before re-emerging for a quick exit from Stamford Bridge.

His decision to enter the dressing room came after he was seen rowing out of the directors’ box with Chelsea fans.

Several fans appeared to be at odds with the billionaire as Chelsea gave up their one-goal lead to lose 2-1.

But the result was only the beginning of their troubles, with the manner of the defeat and Chelsea’s lack of a game plan being even more surprising.

It now remains to be seen how the Blues finish the season, with Lampard seemingly deciding to sideline new faces like Noni Madueke and David Datro Fofana.

Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann are the favorites to take charge this summer.

And apparently there is still a lot to do to prepare the squad for the next gaffer.
