CHELSEA have reportedly been offered the services of some of Europe’s elite forwards after it was revealed that Armando Broja would be out for the season.
Broja’s season ended abruptly after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat by Aston Villa in a friendly last week.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter will be without the 21-year-old until next season and will have to rely on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz to lead the line until he can bring reinforcements.
It may not be long before the Blues boss gets his man’s man, however, as the Evening Standard has reported that the club were offered offers for Matheus Cunha, Joao Felix and Memphis Depay in January.
Atletico Madrid couple Felix and Cunha are expected to leave the Spanish capital soon and could be an attractive option for Chelsea.
Felix impressed in Qatar during the World Cup with Portugal, where he managed to register two assists and score one goal in his four appearances during the tournament.
The 23-year-old could be a viable option for Chelsea as he is reportedly available for a loan transfer.
The Londoners are said to have secured a pre-agreed deal for RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku back in the summer, which would mean a January loan move could be more attractive.
Cunha has also attracted interest from other Premier League sides, with Wolves and Leeds United reportedly interested in the Brazilian.
Barcelona’s Depay is someone Chelsea have previously been linked with, with the Blues reportedly considering a move for the Dutchman before deciding to bring in Aubameyang.
Borussia Dortmund youngster Youssoufa Moukoko is another name the club are reportedly looking to lure to Stamford Bridge along with a whole host of other top sides who are said to be interested in the 18-year-old.
The German prodigy was surprisingly included in Hansi Flick’s World Cup squad, where he played just one minute for the team eliminated in the group stage.
