Tuchel: All we need is a shirt and a bus

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel insists his team will keep giving ‘as long as we have enough shirts and a bus to drive to games’

The Blues at least face financial cuts and potentially much worse if club owner Roman Abramovich doesn’t sell quickly.

The Russian oligarch has had his assets frozen, including Chelsea, due to links to his country’s leader, Vladimir Putin, amid the invasion of Ukraine.

And after the 3-1 win over Norwich tonight, Tuchel said: “Let’s see if it continues like this. If so I don’t know.

“We do it day by day. I didn’t see that until yesterday and I don’t know what will come tomorrow.

“People can be very sure that we are focused on us, to keep the attitude and mentality right on the training ground and in the team.

“So far we can trust each other and this will not change.

“As long as we have enough shirts and a bus to drive to the games, we will be there and will give our best.”
