Chelsea complete Raheem Sterling’s £45million transfer with a deal for the Man City star set to be finalized in the coming days.

CHELSEA are reportedly close in on the £45m transfer of Manchester City ace Raheem Sterling.

The two clubs are understood to remain in negotiations and talks have been accelerated this week.

A deal will see Sterling move to west London in the coming days, according to the Daily Mail.

The 27-year-old England international is close to a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

He has spoken to Blues boss Thomas Tuchel – and those talks have only added to Sterling’s desire to leave City for Chelsea.

The former Liverpool winger has scored 131 goals in 337 games since joining from Anfield in 2015.

SunSport analyzed why Sterling’s good goalscoring record, creativity for the likes of Kai Havertz and ability to be fluid in attack would make him the ideal signing for Chelsea.

The report adds that Chelsea are also interested in Etihad’s Nathan Ake and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The pair would provide reinforcements at the back after some high-profile departures this summer.

Left-footed Ake was on the books at Chelsea for six years but joined Bournemouth in 2017 after a successful loan spell.

However, it is unlikely that Pep Guardiola and his City bosses would allow an opposing club to sign three of their players in the same transfer window.

New owner Todd Boehly hasn’t given up on signing Leeds star Raphinha either.
