Chelsea become Kounde .’s top transfer target

Good morning all football fans

New Manchester United manager Richard Arnold is backing Ralf Rangnick’s pursuit of Erik ten Hag as the next head coach, SunSport can reveal.

Many United players want former Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino to take over as caretaker manager after Rangnick ends.

But Arnold, who took over from Ed Woodward as senior Old Trafford chief executive, was won by Rangnick against Rangnick’s 52-year-old manager Ten Hag.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are said to be aiming for a summer shock to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja following his dazzling display on loan at Southampton.

It is reported that the Saints are planning to put up a club-record £25m bid at the end of the season.

But according to Football.London, the South Coast side face competition from the Gunners in the race for his services.

They say Mikel Arteta’s side are monitoring his progress at St Mary’s before a possible transfer.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers has denied reports that midfielder Youri Tielemans has turned down a new contract offer.

Speaking after the 2-2 draw against West Ham on whether the Tielemans would turn down a new deal, he said: “I don’t know that.

“I think the club will mention that to me if that’s the case.”

And finally, Chelsea have vowed to back Thomas Tuchel this summer with a stream of cash.

The Stamford Bridge chiefs want the Premier League title back in West London.

The Telegraph reports that Abramovich will financially support Tuchel this summer.
