Chelsea are set to sign Christopher Vivell as their new technical director after he was sacked by RB Leipzig

CHELSEA are reportedly to appoint former RB Leipzig boss Christopher Vivell as their new technical director.

Vivell was sacked by the German club yesterday after holding a meeting with Chelsea bosses this week.

German Vivell has been Technical Director at Leipzig since 2020 and is responsible for transfers and scouting.

He was previously in Salzburg, where he helped dig up Erling Haaland with Christoph Freund.
