CHELSEA are interested in signing RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku but will reportedly have to sell attackers first.
Nkunku has caught the attention of several clubs following his amazing form this season. He has scored 34 goals and provided 20 assists in all competitions.
Manchester United are looking to sign the Frenchman who is believed to be in talks over a new deal with Leipzig.
Chelsea believe they can disrupt those talks and lure the 24-year-old to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to Goal.
But first they may have to sell players to raise transfer funds and make room in their squad for Nkunku.
Thomas Tuchel faces a rebuild when the transfer market opens and signing defenders is his top priority, not new strikers.
But that could change if the Blues sell Christian Pulisic due to interest from Juventus.
Fellow winger Hakim Ziyech could also leave as Chelsea are reportedly open to offers for the Moroccan.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering a move for Timo Werner despite his poor form in front of goal this season.
Chelsea are also expected to benefit from Armando Broja following his loan spell at Southampton this season – with West Ham planning a move for the £25million striker.

If Chelsea make a move for Nkunku, their bid could be rivaled by the Red Devils after United fans begged their club to sign the star.
But even an offer of £84m may not be enough to convince the German company to do business, according to reports.
