ANTONIO RUDIGER is said to be signing a four-year contract with Juventus.
The Chelsea German defender, 29, became a free agent in June when his current contract expired.
The Blues tried – and failed – to convince Rudiger to sign an extension for most of the season.
And after Roman Abramovich’s assets were frozen and sanctions imposed on the club prevented them from negotiating a new contract, hopes of keeping him were greatly evaporated.
Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all monitoring the situation.
However, a new report has claimed that Rudiger’s future is now sorted.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the star has said “yes” to a move to the Bianconeri.
He will sign a four-year contract with the Serie A giants because he would rather move there than Madrid and Bayern.
Rudiger will pocket around £5.4m per season in Italy.
Rudiger has been one of the best players in the world since Thomas Tuchel arrived at Chelsea.
He played a key role in their Champions League victory and also helped them lift the Club World Cup last month.
And he will play later today as Chelsea look to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup as they travel to Middlesbrough.
The Blues have several contracts expiring this summer, including defenders Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen.
