VANDERPUMP Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are making headway with their sandwich shop business post ‘Scandoval,’ and new photos show major improvements.
The US Sun has received exclusive snaps from work at the West Hollywood store, which is set to become Something About Her this summer.

Fans got their first glimpse of her premises on North Robertson Boulevard this season, just a few doors down from her ex-boyfriends’ TomTom bar and Lisa Vanderpump’s pump restaurant, which is about to close.
Photos show that a counter has now been installed at the rear of the unit, with a large fridge behind it as they prepare to serve customers.
In addition, a large white bench has been set up on the left side of the shop and plans can be seen on a round white-painted table in the middle of the room.
Workers from Vision Scenery LA can be seen leaving and exiting the property, and piles of materials and tools lie on the patio as the team goes to work to finish the deal on time.
Ariana and Katie start a business together to sell a line of handcrafted and carefully packaged sandwiches that were praised by the cast at a previous tasting.
The women have been working on their business idea for more than a year, and the opening is said to take place in the summer after they have secured premises.
They’ve already unveiled the branding for Something About Her and launched one Instagram Page showing the aesthetic, along with an online store.
SUMMER OPENING
According to the listing of the property, the site has an area of approximately 740 square meters.
On the March 8 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Lisa brought the place to Katie’s attention over dinner at Vanderpump à Paris in Las Vegas.
She told her it had a kitchen and a patio and cost $8,000 a month.
Also, according to the listing, there is a $250,000 cost of transferring the lease and all furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
“My interest is piqued,” Katie told the former RHOBH star before even checking it out in person.
Since filming began months ago, The US Sun has learned that 36-year-old Katie and her 37-year-old business partner Ariana have started “leasing the house and paying rent”.
Katie previously revealed that her goal is to “romance lunch.”
“We wanted to feel more romantic, and that doesn’t necessarily make it more girly or super-feminine, but that romance … a touch of romance that’s like, ‘I want to fall in love here,'” she explained on podcast former co-star Kristen doute
Katie also expressed on her friend’s podcast how difficult it was to make it work.
“They think finding the location is the hardest part, but there are so many factors involved,” she said.

“It’s not as easy as picking color or tables and chairs — it involves a lot of extra work, legal stuff, licenses and permissions and so on.”
She also mentioned that she and Ariana “really wanted to take their time” so they had a “clear road map” and not just go for it and later eclipsed Schwartz and Sandy’s bar — which the two Toms struggled to open .
After a year of no social media activity, Something About Her’s Instagram account was finally updated for sharing on March 7th the graphics of the shop – a knife, a sandwich, Swiss cheese, pepperoni and flowers on a pink background.
The two later launched their online business, which offers official merchandise with the shop’s artwork and logo.
Per Bravo, Something About Her is expected to open later this year — more than two years after they filed the LLC in July 2021.
Lisa Vanderpump has helped women start their own businesses after working with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz at TomTom.
But when Andy Cohen asked her if she was putting money into Something About Her, she replied: “I never planned [on investing]. I’m here to support you.
“I don’t want to do business with every single person who works for me, but I’m there to support them.”
Bravo fans are eagerly awaiting Wednesday’s Vanderpump finale after it was revealed that Ariana’s longtime partner Tom Sandoval had an affair with co-star Raquel Leviss.
After finding an “intimate” video on Tom’s phone, the blonde beauty ended the relationship after nine years together.
They share a $2 million mansion in Valley Village that the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman hasn’t moved out of yet.
