Carson Daly is absent from the Today Show again as another fan-favorite co-host replaces him during his special segment
THE Today Show host Carson Daly has disappeared into the morning show again.
He was replaced by Dylan Dreyer, who ran Carson’s POPStart segment.
Carson, 49, has been missing from the morning show for two days.
Although he has been active on social media, mainly promoting his show Barmageddon, he has given no reason for his departure.
Sheinelle Jones replaced the host on Thursday’s show, hosting the POPStart segment.
However, she was absent on Friday, so that privilege went to Dylan.
He was last seen on the show on Wednesday.
It’s not clear when the host will be back on the morning show.
Carson could be directing new episodes of Barmageddon and can’t be there since it’s set in Nashville.
He could also be gearing up to direct new episodes of The Voice, which he has hosted since season one.

The new season starts in March.
Carson also took time off last week to spend some quality time with his daughter.
The 49-year-old Instagrammer posted an adorable photo of Etta dressed in a blue hat and matching t-shirt to show her support for the New York Islanders.
He pictured the 10-year-old wearing her Islander insignia while in the UBS Arena merchandise store.
“It’s taking your oldest daughter to a New York Islanders hockey game night!” the Voice host wrote in the caption.
“I love my time with the kids at these games. Let’s go #islanders.”
Carson’s followers rushed to the comments, praising the busy Today star for making time with his daughter.
“Family time is the best memory with a wife and children,” wrote one.
“Make great memories…so cute,” agreed another.
A third wrote: “Special time with each child individually is just that, SPECIAL and unforgettable.”
In addition to his roles in Today, The Voice and Beermaggedon, Carson is a father of four children with his wife Siri Pinter.
Carson and Siri, 42, have been married since 2015 but have been together for over a decade.
DALY’S DIRTY CAN
Prior to this break from the show, Carson shocked his co-hosts after making a lewd joke during a live TV segment.
Last week, fitness expert Stephanie Mansour stopped by to share the benefits of exercise equipment like vibration plates with hosts including Carson, Craig Melvin, 43, and Savannah Guthrie, 51.
Items on display included slideboards, adjustable weights, Pilates rings, yoga kits and more, all aimed at helping users improve their workouts.
The hosts then tried out a few bits of home fitness equipment themselves, with Craig trying out a vibration plate.
Vibration plates provide full-body vibration, forcing your muscles to relax and contract dozens of times per second, which can lead to straining.
Stepping onto the plate, he stood uncomfortably as the machine began to work its magic.
The rest of the hosts watched while Craig experienced the vibrations the device had to offer and Mansour stepped in to tell Craig what he was experiencing.
“Your muscles are working 30 to 50 times more per second,” she explained as Craig stood on the plate.
“It’s not just his muscles that are working,” Carson joked, drawing a laugh from the hosts, including Mansour.
The segment continued, but the hosts kept laughing at the raunchy joke Carson made.
